FUQUAY-VARINA, North Carolina (May 24, 2022) – Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Donald Shaw has joined its team in High Point as a Senior Business Development Officer. In his new position, Mr. Shaw is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships within the community, as well as contributing to the sales efforts of the Fidelity Bank High Point office located at 1005 N. Main Street.
Don brings over thirty-eight years of financial experience to the Bank. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for High Point Bank. He also held various banking positions at Bank of America, GE Capital, BB&T and Piedmont Federal Savings Bank. In addition to his financial background, Don is very active in the community. He is an active member on the Board of Directors and past president of the Rotary Club of High Point. He is also involved in the following organizations: Open Door Ministries of High Point, Greater High Point Food Alliance, Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, and The Piedmont School.
Mr. Shaw graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting. Don and his wife, Carolyn, currently reside in High Point, and they have one child.
