Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Barry Jarrett has joined its team in Martinsville as Senior Vice President and Market Executive. In his new position, Mr. Jarrett is responsible for mentoring and developing a team of commercial bankers and for providing outstanding service to customers of the Fidelity Bank branch located at 231 East Church Street.
Barry has over thirty-one years of financial experience. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for Atlantic Union Bank as an SVP and Market President. He also held various roles, including City Executive, with BB&T. Barry is also active in the community. He currently serves on the boards of the Henry County Industrial Development Authority, Ninth District Development Financing, Inc., SafetyNet MHC, the Virginia Museum of Natural History Foundation Advisory Board, and is a former Board Chairman of Patrick & Henry Community College.
Mr. Jarrett graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics. He currently resides in Collinsville with his wife, Amy.
