Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Ford Bowers has joined its team as a Market Executive. In his new position, Mr. Bowers is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships as well as leading the High Point and Greensboro branches in sales and market expansion. His office is at the Fidelity Bank branch located at 1005 N Main Street in High Point.
Ford has 32 years of financial experience. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for Southern National Bank/BB&T/Truist as a Triad Market President and held roles including Commercial Credit Analyst, Commercial Banker, High Point City Executive, and Greensboro Market President. In addition to his extensive financial background, he served in the U.S. Navy and later retired as a Commander in the Navy Reserves after more than 20 years of dedicated service. Ford is actively involved in the community, serving on the Greensboro YMCA Investment and Endowment Committee, the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the UNC-Greensboro Board of Visitors. Previously, he has held leadership roles as Chairman of the Guilford Merchants Association and President of the Greensboro Rotary Club.
Mr. Bowers graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University’s Babcock School for Business. He currently resides in Kernersville with his wife, Tara, and has three adult children.
