As another quarter closes, Fidelity Bank is pleased to share the impact that several SBA loans made across small businesses in the second quarter of 2026.

Thanks to the effort of our entire SBA lending team, we funded $27,916,500 in SBA financing across 20 individual loans! These loans helped small business owners in industries such as roofing contractors, healthcare, childcare services, automotive repair, jewelry, and many more. While seven of these loans closed in North Carolina, we are a nationwide lender and helped businesses in other states, including Florida, California, Illinois, Indiana, Virginia, and Idaho.

The most popular funding purpose in Q2 was asset purchases; however, we also closed other SBA 7(a) loans, and an SBA 504 loan, for the usage of business acquisition, commercial real estate purchase, stock purchase, and working capital.

The SBA lending team at Fidelity Bank is honored to have been a part of helping businesses grow stronger and more confident within their communities. We look forward to continued success together in the months ahead.

At Fidelity Bank, we are Right By You through every step of the lending journey, including through changes in the SBA. Beginning on July 4, 2026, eligible borrowers may be able to combine up to $5 million in SBA 7(a) financing with up to $5 million in SBA 504 financing for a total of $10 million in capital. This creates new possibilities for larger business acquisitions, expansion projects, commercial real estate investments, and equipment purchases.
