Yes, each depositor is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The FDIC guarantees all traditional types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, money market, and CDs) up to $250,000 per depositor and guarantees bank individual retirement accounts (IRAs) up to $250,000 per owner.

To find your statements online, log in to your Online Banking account. Your eStatements can by found by clicking on the Accounts menu option and then Statements & Notices.

To print statements, log in to your Online Banking account. Click on the desired account on your Account Summary screen. Then, click on the Statements link. A list of available documents will appear, click on the link to the statement you’d like to print. The statement will open in a new window and you can print your document.

There are two easy ways to enroll in Online Banking. From a computer, complete our easy enrollment form to start using Online Banking. From your mobile device, visit the App Store or on Google Play and search for Fidelity Bank NC/VA and download the Fidelity Bank mobile app. Then, click the Enroll now link to start your enrollment process.

To enroll in Business Online Banking, please complete our easy enrollment form or contact your local branch.

To reset your Online Banking password, click log in, select your log in type in the drop box, and click Forgot Password? Then, enter the required fields and hit reset password.

All business and personal accounts come with free Mobile Banking and Online Banking. There may be a fee for using services in Online Banking. Additional fees may also apply for businesses enrolled in Online Banking.

Yes, to transfer to or from another financial institution you can use our External Transfers feature. This feature is available to Personal Online Banking customers and in our convenient Mobile Banking app.

Yes, Online Banking and Mobile Banking allow you to move money between your Fidelity Bank Accounts. You are also able to transfer money to and from another financial institution with Personal Online Banking.

Your account’s current balance is the beginning-of-the-day balance after the prior evening’s posting. The available balance is the amount you have in your account that’s available for immediate withdrawal or to cover debit items. The available balance represents the difference between the current balance and pending items (those items we have received but haven’t posted).

Available Balance = Current Balance + Pending Credits – Pending Debits

You must enroll in Bill Payment through Online Banking. Once you’re logged in to your account, click on the Bill Payment menu option, review and accept the terms & conditions, and then follow the on-screen instructions to add a company or person to your payment center.

To make changes, first log in to your Online Banking account and click on Bill Payment. To add a new company or person, click on the Add Company or Person button and follow the on-screen instructions. To make changes or delete existing payees, click on the payee name in the list on your Payment Center. A box will appear that will allow you to make changes or delete. Once your changes are complete click Save Changes.

To log in to Online Banking from a computer or browser on your mobile device, visit fidelitybanknc.com and click on the log in button. Then select your log in type from the drop down and enter your log in information.

First you need to download our convenient mobile banking app. Visit the App Store or Google Play and search for Fidelity Bank NC/VA to download the app. Once the app is downloaded, enter your log in information to start using mobile banking.

Go paperless and enroll in eStatements for a more secure and convenient way to manage your accounts. Access your statements anytime, reduce paper clutter, and enjoy added peace of mind knowing your information is protected.

To enroll in eStatements, simply log in to Online Banking and follow the steps below:

1. Click on your name in the top right corner
2. Click Profile
3. Click Statement Preference
4. In the Delivery Option column, select Electronic for the account(s) you wish to change
5. Click Save

At the end of each statement cycle, you will receive an email when your statement is ready to view online.

You can see up to 13 months of transaction history in online banking.

No, if you’re the recipient of an ACH being credited or debited from your account, you do not need to sign up for an additional service. If you need to initiate an ACH and push or pull funds from another financial institution, you will want to utilize our ACH module within Business online or mobile banking.

No, you can create templates which will store the banking information for your recipients so that you will only need to adjust the dollar amount and dates the funds transfer.

Go to Payments & Transfers and click on ACH. In the activity tab, if the transaction shows “pending origination” or “processed” then the ACH transfer is processed successfully.

If your ACH is in Pending Origination, you can delete the transaction from the Activity tab. If the transaction is in Processed status, please contact Business Solutions at 1-855-547-1385 option 2, then option 3 for assistance.

When you originate an ACH transaction, you will need to have enough funds in your account to cover the transaction at the time of origination. The funds will be held for two business days to allow the transfer to complete.

There are a couple of steps to successfully update a recurring transaction:

1. In the Activity Tab, delete the next recurrence of your template. Note: It is very important to delete the incorrect ACH recurrence to avoid multiple transactions.
2. In the Template Tab, locate the template and choose “edit”. Once the edits are completed, click save at the bottom.
3. In the Template Tab, choose “send” on the template you have saved, enter the next date you want the recurrence to start and process your ACH.
4. Once the ACH is processed, you will see the next two recurrences in your Activity tab.

We have multiple options to meet our customers’ needs and make you feel protected with our online services. We have dual control capabilities as well as multi-factor authentication (MFA). This is a new security feature of mobile and online banking that helps to verify your identity by sending a unique code to a phone number in our system via text message or phone call. You will be prompted for this code when logging in and performing other functions inside mobile or online banking such as sending wires or setting up an ACH transaction.

No, if you’re the recipient of a Wire, you do not need to sign up for an additional service. If you need to initiate Wires, you will want to utilize our online or mobile banking

Fidelity Bank takes your online security seriously. One way that we help combat fraud is to perform a callback verification on certain wire transfers to ensure the wire is not fraudulent.

Our fees debit monthly, the 20th of the following month. Once converted to the new merchant platform, fees will debit the 3rd business day of the following month.

As a result of a legal settlement to resolve claims brought by a group of U.S. merchants, merchants in the U.S. and U.S. territories may add a surcharge to certain credit card transactions. Merchants who choose to surcharge must follow consumer disclosure and other requirements agreed to as part of the settlement.

U.S. merchants that intend to surcharge are required to:

1. Provide written notice to Fidelity Bank Merchant Services with your intent to surcharge at least 30 days in advance of beginning to surcharge.
2. Limit surcharging to credit cards only (no surcharging debit and prepaid cards) and limit the amount to your merchant discount rate for the applicable credit card surcharged. Allowed discount rate can be no more than 3% and should not exceed the merchants set discount rate.
3. Disclose the surcharge as a merchant fee and clearly alert consumers to the practice at the point of sale – both in store and online – and on every receipt.

Merchants should also consider whether they comply with all applicable state and/or federal laws. Currently, several states have laws that prohibit surcharging. As of April 15, 2023, they are: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and Oklahoma. Note also that Merchants located in Colorado may not surcharge more than 2% as per State law.

Suspended status means the deposit was not transmitted to Fidelity Bank for Deposit. To correct this, access your deposit and verify the information is correct. Once the deposit is complete, click submit and complete the steps to submit the deposit.

Remote Deposit Service is an ideal solution if your business often deposits checks, or deposits multiple checks at a time. Remote Deposit Service allows you to quickly scan and deposit multiple checks. The service conveniently batches all your items together into one deposit account and extends your deposit window to 7 p.m. for same day credit.

Yes. Digital Wallet is a safe way to make payments.

In fact, a Digital Wallet is a safer way to pay when compared to using a traditional credit or debit card. Each transaction uses a unique encrypted number that is transmitted to the retailer instead of the actual card number. If the phone is ever lost or stolen, most phones can be remotely found, locked, and the stored information, including the digital wallet, can be erased. Apple Pay^® uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. Your card number is never stored on your device or on Apple servers and is never shared with merchants. Learn more here.

The first card activated with Apple Pay^® will be setup as your primary card by default. To change, open the Settings app, tap on Wallet & Apple Pay^®, and tap on Default Card, and then select your Fidelity Bank card.

The first card activated with Google Pay™ will be setup as your primary card by default. To change, open the Google Pay™ app, tap Payment, tap on the Fidelity Bank card that you want to set as your default, and turn on Default for in-store purchases.

Open the Fidelity Bank app, click on Deposit, and then follow the on-screen prompts.

Fidelity Bank does not currently charge to use mobile deposit.

There are no limits for the number of deposits you can make per day.

If deposits are made before 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, the deposit will generally post the same day if the deposit is deemed acceptable during Mobile Deposit review. If the deposit is made after 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, then it would generally post the next business day. Deposits are subject to verification and any applicable holds.

All checks should be properly endorsed prior to deposit. In addition to signing the back of the check, add “For Mobile Deposit Only Fidelity Bank” under the signature.

Upon confirming that you received full credit for the check deposited, you must destroy the check by shredding or other means, or clearly mark “VOID” or “Electronically Deposited” on the front and back of the check.

Fidelity Bank Mobile Deposit will accept several check types. Checks must be payable to and endorsed by the account holder. Listed below are items allowed and not allowed for deposit:

You can earn points on qualifying purchases anywhere your Fidelity Bank Visa^® credit card is accepted. Qualifying purchases typically include online purchases, phone or mail orders, bill payments, and contactless purchases.

Points can take up to 30 days to post to your rewards account and should generally be available for redemption at the end of the month.

Yes. Points will expire three years from the date they were earned. If an account is closed, any remaining points are forfeited.

The new rewards credit card design is only sent to customers when a card is about to expire. However, if you would like the new design early, please contact our Customer Care Center at 1-855-547-1385, option 5 or contact your local branch.

Alerts are real-time notifications that you can set up through Mobile Banking or Online Banking for added security and to help you keep track of your account activity.

To sign up, log in to Mobile Banking or Online Banking and click on Alerts. Choose the category and type of alert you would like to receive and save it. You can also enable push notifications on your mobile device.

To edit your Alerts, log in to Mobile Banking or Online Banking and click on Alerts. Choose the category and type of alert you would like to edit, make the change, and then click on save.

There are over 100 Alerts to choose from. Some examples of the Alert categories are: security, balance, payment, transaction, ATM, credit card, debit card, etc.

Account alerts are real-time notifications. Please keep in mind that if a transaction is pending and has not posted you may not receive the alert until after it posts to your account.

BaZing is a targeted network of businesses (like yours) that provides deals to a select group of loyal checking account customers at community financial institutions. Typically, these customers pay a monthly subscription fee for access to the BaZing network, so they are already invested and loyal participants. BaZing is owned by the nation’s leading provider of consumer checking solutions to financial institutions.

There is no charge to participate. The discounted value of your offer is your only costs. There is no revenue sharing of your sales like “deep discount” or “daily deal” companies. Your discounted offer is made available online at BaZing.com and on the mobile app to participating financial institution’s checking account customers. They simply print the online coupon associated with your offer and redeem it at the point of sale. For mobile, they simply show your electronic coupon on their mobile phone at the point of sale. There is no hardware or software required by your business to participate.

You can have up to five (5) different offers at the same time.

Yes, you can control the number of redemptions for any of your offers, which include the ‘number of times’ per; day/week/month/quarter.

Yes. To add, change, or delete an offer, the owner of the business would simply log in to their BaZing Merchant Network account. Please remember that BaZing requires at least one exclusive and ongoing offer with a savings of at least $1 or more posted on the Network for a business to participate. Ongoing is defined by a coupon that can be used repeatedly throughout the year. Businesses may choose to post additional offers on the site.

Yes, you will use the same email address and password to log in to the mobile or web application.

At the login screen, enter your email address associated with your SpendTrack account. Click on the Reset password link. You will receive an email with additional instructions.

Passwordless log in is a convenient feature available on the web application of SpendTrack that will allow you to quickly access your account without using the traditional authentication methods such as a password and OTP (one-time passcode). To enable passwordless log in, download and log in to the SpendTrack app. Once set-up, the next time you log into the web application, you will be asked to verify your identity on your mobile device. The SpendTrack mobile application also allows you to enable biometrics for a faster and more secure way to log in.

From the home screen of SpendTrack, select View all transactions on the righthand side of the screen. All transactions from the current period will display. To view transactions from a prior statement cycle, select the Period drop down option within the Transactions menu at the top to select which statement cycle to view.

For disputes that are not related to suspected fraud (such as incorrect amount, duplicate charges, failure to deliver, etc.), click on View all transactions from the home screen.
Select the desired transaction under the All Transactions header. From the menu, select File a Dispute. For transactions that appear to be the result of fraud, please call the number on the back of your card immediately.

Navigate to the list of cardholders, select the three dots in the corner of each cardholder box. Select Paperless, view and agree to the Terms and Conditions and select Enroll in Paperless. Beginning with the next statement cycle, paper statements will no longer generate and you will receive an alert via email when your statement is ready for viewing in SpendTrack.

If you have consolidated billing, the Control account is the default account for the landing page in SpendTrack. The control account is where all subaccount transactions roll up to and where the account is billed. To view all accounts, select the business name with the word Company in parenthesis. This will allow you to view any individual accounts, control accounts and subaccounts that each company has.

If you have individual billing, select the dropdown under billing account and select the business name with Company in parenthesis. From this page, each individual account can be selected to view statements and make payments.

To make a payment, select the Make a payment button from your home screen. Next, select your payment option, your payment date, the amount you wish to pay, and your payment account. Then, view and accept the terms and conditions and select Pay.

No, your payees will be transferred to the new system.

Yes, your payment history will be available in the new system.

No, your recurring payments will be migrated to the new system. Scheduled bill payments will continue to process as normal.

A Level 1 user is the system administrator. This user has access to all functionalities of Pay & Get Paid, including user management and funding methods. One online banking administrator is designated as the Level 1 user for your business.

If you receive a message that states, “You cannot access this menu item, please contact your business administrator for more information,” please contact your business’s Level 1 user. The Level 1 user needs to activate your Pay & Get Paid access under Settings, then Users and roles.

Our new system provides more flexible payment options. Conveniently make or schedule payments by bank transfer, check, or credit card.

Note: debit cards are not an eligible funding method.

To use a credit card to make a payment, a Level 1 user must first add it as a funding method by following the instructions below:

1. Navigate to Settings
2. Go to Funding methods
3. Click Add Card
4. Enter your 16-digit card number, cardholder’s name, billing address, expiration date, and security code (CVV) and click Save Card.
5. Assign user access to the card

To change your Pay & Get Paid package, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Settings
2. Go to Plans and billing
3. Click Manage plan
4. Review the available plan options, then click Choose plan beneath the option you’d like to switch to.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to finalize your change.

You can easily manage users under the Settings menu:

1. Navigate to Settings
2. Go to Users and roles
3. To edit a user, click Edit next to the person you want to update.

Note: account activation must be on for users to be able to access the Pay & Get Paid system.
