Fidelity Bank in Gibsonville sponsored a Shred-A-Thon for the residents of Elon and Gibsonville and surrounding areas. The free event was held on Saturday, May 18th at Beth Schmidt Park. Area residents were invited to securely destroy sensitive information and confidential documents to help in the fight against identity theft. In just over two hours the Shred-It trucks were full and 150 people were served.
