Scam Alert

Recently, we’ve seen an increase in phone calls and fraudulent text messages impersonating Fidelity Bank and other financial institutions. These messages often ask you to respond to login attempts or other similar alerts, sometimes by clicking a link and entering your online banking credentials, in an effort to steal your information and access your accounts.

If you do receive a text message from Fidelity Bank, please verify the number the text came from before responding. Text messages originated from Fidelity Bank will be sent from a 5-digit number and NOT a 10-digit number resembling a phone number. Our 5-digit text code number is 36397.

As a reminder. our system uses multi-factor authentication (MFA). A unique code will be sent to you via text message or phone call. Do not share this security code with anyone.

Here are some tips to remain vigilant:

  • We will never text, email, or call you to request security codes, account numbers, or other sensitive personal information.
  • Never open suspicious links in texts or emails.
  • Always navigate to fidelitybanknc.com to log in to your online banking account or locate the customer service phone number.
  • Account information, user IDs, passwords, security codes, social security numbers or other sensitive information should never be shared over the phone with an unsolicited caller or through a link in an unsolicited text.

Your online safety is important to us. If at any point you are uncertain, please contact your local branch, your banker, or call us at 855-547-1385.
